NASA Shares Stunning Picture Of Supernova Remains, It Breaks The Internet

Space is as fascinating as it gets, and NASA, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, keeps sharing amazing insights with the general public on their social media handles. This time, NASA shared a beautiful image of the remains of a supernova on Sunday. The never-before-seen image broke the internet, and rightfully so. NASA shared a beautiful and rare picture of the remains of a supernova nearly 9,000 light years away from. Earth has observed by the Chandra X-Ray obeservatory, in an instagram post with a witty refrence to Taylor swift . The image shows one of the "most extreme" rotating neutron stras on pulsars even detected, back in 2016. The photo has grabbed the internet's imagination.

The caption of the image read, "Question…? Are you a Swiftie? We are too! Our Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory telescope and several other X-ray telescopes observed one of the most extreme rotating neutron stars or pulsars – ever detected in 2016".The caption further explained the image that the blank space seen in the image is as black as thenight dotted with tiny white stars. A swirling labyrinth of colours of blue, grren,yellow,purple, and red makes up the center of the photo surrounding the neutron stars in bright blue.  

 People couldn't get over the rare image because:

  • The photo went viral soon after for obvious reasons and people were in love with the image

One asked, " Is a black hole going to take birth after this, or is it already there now after the supernova?" Another asked, " Is that Space fruit mix ice cream.".
